How I make your Pen

  • A 5" wood body is cut in half for a 2 body pen.
  • Each half is drilled to the diameter of the copper tube insert
  • The copper tubes are glued into each of the 2 body halves.

  • Both halves are put on the lathe and turned down to the body style you prefer

  • Here the first half is turned down to the shape you want and the second half is started.
  • Both halves are finished turning.
  • The next step is to sand each blank half with 4 grits of sandpaper from 150 to 800 grit.
  • Both halves are finished sanding.
  • A plastic CA glue coating has been applied the polished on both pen halves.
  • Clip and center band are pressed together into each body half.
  • Your pen is finished and ready for shipment to you.
